The church , built between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries, that is, in the transition from Romanesque to Gothic, has plant of Latin cross with a single nave and four sections to the transept; this is very long but narrower than the ship, leading to a cruise rectangular covered with a dome resting on octagonal tubes whose construction is dated in the thirteenth century. In both arms of the transept there are paths square apse chapels. Also the apse at the head master of the ship is smooth run. The temple is covered with vault pointed and the apse and transept with barrel vaults. It is noteworthy tower bell octagonal that rises so a second dome on the second section of the ship; It is markedly gothic and a striking originality and architectural daring as it gets out on the side walls directly, was built during the rule of the abbess of Copons Elisenda between 1340 and 1348, (sister of the abbot of Poblet Copons).
